A time for Feasting on Silence...

This space has been empty for weeks.
Tucked away into the depths of my heart, waiting.

Life had me travelling. Winding down all sorts of roads, paths, and avenues.
And time found no cracked-open space to script words here.

Words that swirled, took pause...
But I didn't mind.

I relished in the ability to not feel forced in this space, but rather, having the freedom to breathe and move, and have my being outside of here.
Outside of expectation.
Expectations that I drape. Shadows I live behind.

Release has been good.
Silence has been nutritious...
And I am thankful for the feast!

"There are times when silence is wiser than speech.
We should be better, if we were more alone, waiting upon God. And gathering through meditation on His Word spiritual strength for labour in his service. We ought to muse upon the things of God because we thus get the real nutriment out of them. . . .”
~ Charles Spurgeon
